Moondyne Joe
Yes, we've taken our name from Western Australia's most
famous bushranger. Born Joseph Bolitho Johns in 1826, Moondyne Joe was
known for his ingenious escapes and his outstanding bushmanship.
He was suspected of branding and holding horses at Moondyne Springs,
down in the valley in front of the Homestead.
Today, these springs provide fresh drinking water for Moondyne!
